Dear 5th Grader,
I hope you have had a fun summer. I have been very busy planning and getting the classroom ready for August 23rd. I am very excited to begin the new year.
In preparation for the upcoming year, I have included a list of the supplies that we need this year. Each student will need a binder to keep folders in to organize their classwork. It is easier to keep track using this system.
Open House will be held on August 21. Grades 3-8 will meet in the cafeteria at 6:30.
The first day of school is August 23. Please remember to check our school website for more back to school information, www.stpatswv.org.

** Remember everything must fit into a pencil pouch like you had last year! I will provide the pencil pouches. 🙂
** Write your name on your materials.
Student School Supplies:
pencils– regular or mechanical
crayons– a small pack of 24 will be fine
highlighters- skinny ones
scissors
glue can be stick or liquid glue
Earbuds/ Earphones- Please keep in mind that we do not have a lot of room and it will be the student’s’ responsibility to keep track of these.
One Subject Notebook- This notebook will be used as our Science Notebook. Please make sure it has a folder inside it to hold our newspapers. A 5 Star Notebook works the best.
Composition Notebooks (2)- One for Math and one for Mass Reflections
colored pencils- small pack (optional)
Binder- Binders must be big enough to hold a planner, Science notebook and folders. Please include 8 folders or dividers with pocket: Reading, Spelling, Grammar, Science, Social Studies, Religion, Homework, and a Take Home Folder. Please label these.
Classroom Supplies: (These are not mandatory for every child to get. However, if you would like to donate one or two things that would be great! )
