WHY CHOOSE ST. PATRICK SCHOOL?

St. Patrick School emphasizes not only academic excellence, but the nurturing of spiritual and moral growth. Our students participate in a variety of religious activities throughout the school year to further enhance their religious growth.

  • Our day begins with school-wide prayer and ends with classroom prayer. Our morning prayer includes a reading from the Gospel, Special Intentions, liturgical seasons, and music.
  • In addition to weekly Class Mass and All-School Mass, our students participate in monthly prayer services.
  • Each December, our students participate in a Christmas performance centering on Christ’s birth.
  • During Lent, the students participate in weekly Stations of the Cross as they travel their Lenten journey.

Mr. Derico visited the class to talk about the Phillipi Covered Bridge. Mr. Derico presented each student a toy he made from the wood salvaged from the original bridge. The students walked to the Military Museum and the Glass Museum for tours. The students walked to the Military Museum and the Glass Museum for tours. The entire St. Patrick School student body and staff paused to recognize the National Day of Prayer. Guest speaker Mr. Hunte provided an exciting presentation on electricity. During a novel unit on Shiloh, animal control officer John Snyder visited Ms.Mason’s 4th grade class to talk about animal abuse and care. Second grade had a blast at the Clay Center on their end-of-the-year field trip.
