Mrs. Andrea Cunningham was born and raised in Pendleton County, WV. She has lived in three states and traveled to 32 continental states. She now lives in
Buckhannon with her husband, daughter, and their mini goldendoodle, Athena. Andrea graduated from Franklin High School in 1997 and Shephard College in 2001. While at Shephard, she earned her degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies. She has been with St. Patrick’s for the last three years as our lead Pre-K teacher in which she states is “a tremendous blessing!” She enjoys cooking new recipes, crafting, hiking, hunting, camping, and spending time outside with her family. She also loves French and Indian War history and participates in a reenactment every year during the Treasure Mountain Festival. She currently sits as the chairperson for the Fort Seybert Foundation where they are working to build a museum and replica of Fort Seybert. Mrs. Cunningham is also a lifetime member of the Killbuck Riflemen Club. Her favorite part of teaching Pre-K is teaching her students to write their name and to love and follow Jesus. She is a convert to the Catholic faith and loves being Catholic! Mrs. Cunningham firmly believes that all life is sacred, from conception to death. She calls upon many saints; thus, it is difficult to choose one as her favorite. However, she frequently calls on our Blessed Mother, St. Luke the physician, and St. Martha for prayers and guidance as she considers them her dearest friends.
