Handwriting

Handwriting is taught every year at St. Patrick’s. Manuscript writing is taught in Kindergarten through Second Grade. By the middle of Second Grade, the students begin to learn cursive writing. By the end of third grade, the students are expected to know cursive writing. After third grade, all assignments in all subjects are expected to be in cursive. The text used to teach handwriting is based on copying important scripture and Church teachings.
